Tokyu & Minatomirai Yokohama Station is an underground station on the west side of Yokohama Station’s main building. This station is shared by the Tokyu and Minatomirai railway companies.
Inside Tokyu & Minatomirai Yokohama Station
From this station Tokyu Railways operates services on the Tokyu Toyoko Line which runs between Yokohama Station and Shibuya Station in Tokyo. Minatomirai Railway operates services on the Minatomirai Line which runs between Yokohama Station and Motomachi-Chukagai Station and provides access to Yokohama’s most popular sightseeing destinations. These two lines meet at Yokohama Station and through services run each way between them.
Finding Your Way
Entrances to Tokyu & Minatomirai Yokohama Station can be found on the B1 basement level of the main Yokohama Station building. One entrance is located on the Central Passage of the main station building just inside the West Exit.

The other entrance is located on the Northern Passage of the main station building just inside the Northwest Exit.

If you are in the Southern Passage of the main station building, you can access this station via the North-South Connection Passage, which connects all the station’s passages at the B2 level. The North-South Connection Passage can be accessed via escalators, stairs and an elevator close to the JR South Ticket Gate.

Tickets Gates
Ticket gates for this station are located on the B3 level. There are two sets of ticket gates. If you access the station from the Central Passage you will arrive at the South Gates.

If you access the station from the Northern Passage, you will arrive at the Main Gates.

Ticket machines are located beside the ticket gates.

These ticket machines are operated using touch screens, have language options in English, Chinese, Korean, French and Spanish, and are very easy to use.

Above the ticket machines are fare charts which show all destinations with their fares in both English and Japanese.
Platforms
This station has two platforms.
Platforms 1 and 2 at Tokyu & Minatomirai Yokohama Station
Trains departing from Platform 1 are southbound services for Minatomirai and Motomachi-Chukagai on the Minatomirai Line.

Trains departing from Platform 2 are northbound services to Shibuya on the Tokyu Toyoko Line.

Digital signs on both platforms give departure information in both English and Japanese.

Northbound through services from Platform 2 such as the F Liner and the S-Train also serve destinations on other rail lines beyond Shibuya such as Ikebukuro, Nerima, and Tokorozawa.
